Website Content Manager is a hands-on role focused on building, updating, and maintaining pages in Contentful (and occasionally WordPress).

You’ll be at the centre of the business, working with teams across Product, Marketing, SEO, PPC, Customer Support, Design and beyond, both in the UK and globally, to turn requests into live, high-quality website changes, quickly and accurately.

This is not a content writing role. Content will be provided. The focus is on implementation, structure, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and update pages in Contentful (and sometimes WordPress), implementing changes across the site from small updates to full landing pages using existing templates and components (e.g. campaigns, help articles)
  • Collaborate with teams across Marketing, Ecommerce, Content, SEO, Product, Design and others to deliver website updates aligned to business priorities
  • Manage incoming requests from across the business and track them through a Kanban-style workflow to ensure clear prioritisation, visibility, and delivery
  • Support Marketing and Ecommerce teams by building campaign pages, uploading assets, and implementing on-site promotional and product-related content to support go-to-market activity and conversion-focused experiences
  • Build, update, and optimise customer and marketing journeys on the site, ensuring that triggered actions (e.g. emails, tracking, personalisation) are implemented correctly
  • Apply SEO requirements in collaboration with the SEO team (metadata, internal linking, alt text, button tracking, etc.)
  • Ensure all changes are reviewed, approved, and fully QA’d before going live, including desktop and mobile checks, layout and formatting, and validation of links, tracking, and overall functionality
  • Monitor basic page performance using tools like GA4 and Search Console, build simple reports in Looker Studio, and share insights with stakeholders

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience working with a CMS is mandatory (Contentful or WordPress preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail — able to manage multiple updates without errors
  • Good understanding of how web pages are structured (headings, components, formatting)
  • Organised and confident managing workflows and competing priorities
  • Analytical mindset — able to understand how changes impact performance
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Comfortable working with stakeholders across different teams
  • Flexible to support UK business hours.

Whilst your job title and job description indicate your principal responsibilities, you may from time to time be asked to carry out other work that is within your capability and capacity. Members of staff will not be asked to undertake other tasks unreasonably, but a measure of flexibility is expected of all.
